On 3 May 2012 the start of the new construction of Westrom was celebrated by the unveiling of the site sign by alderwoman Moussaoui. This is almost exactly a year after Kern Architecten presented it's vision to the board of Westrom and with this acquired the commission for the design of the new building. In good co-operation with project manager ZECI and Westrom we succeeded in preparing the project for tender in December 2011. After a European tender proces the commission for construction was won by Maasveste Berben Bouw. Completion of the building is planned for Januari 2013.
